Partita a fine 2018, Venezia per immagini è la rubrica fotografica quotidiana del Comune di Venezia. Un racconto visivo dei paesaggi della città, ma anche un esperimento riuscito di street photography. Si tratta di una raccolta di foto urbane realizzata con i contributi inviati giorno dopo giorno dai suoi abitanti, ma anche da turisti e da chiunque, di passaggio dal capoluogo lagunare, voglia immortalarlo per portarne con sé il ricordo e anche, appunto, condividerlo.

 

Da oltre quattro anni il progetto, ideato dall'Ufficio stampa del Comune per coinvolgere la popolazione, serve a rendere omaggio ai paesaggi di Venezia, ma anche della terraferma e delle isole della laguna, componendo una sorta di diario collettivo telematico di ricordi veneziani. Le foto, inviate alla casella social@comune.venezia.it, vengono selezionate dal social media team e pubblicate due volte al giorno, in apertura e chiusura di giornata (alle 8 e alle 20) sui profili social del Comune: Twitter, Facebook e Instagram. Qui ricevono centinaia di like, commenti e condivisioni, che testimoniano l'entusiasmo e la partecipazione attiva degli utenti. 

 

All'indirizzo mail dedicato all'invio di immagini sono giunte nel tempo migliaia di istantanee, realizzate con fotocamere professionali ma anche semplicemente con lo smartphone. Tra gli scatti, non solo gli scorci più caratteristici e abituali di calli, campi e ponti veneziani, ma anche dettagli di angoli del centro storico meno conosciuti, tramonti mozzafiato, foto scattate a bordo di traghetti e gondole, da droni o dalle tipiche altane cittadine. Non c'è limite alla fantasia di chi, avendola vissuta per anni o ammirata solo di passaggio, voglia mostrare il proprio personale punto di vista su Venezia. Spesso le immagini provengono anche dall'estero: Francia, Spagna, Germania, Stati Uniti.

 

Visto il successo dell'iniziativa, la rubrica prosegue: per partecipare basta inviare i propri scatti a social@comune.venezia.it e autorizzare il Comune a pubblicare le foto, firmando la liberatoria allegata in basso.

#Veneziaperimmagini Citizens and tourists illustrate Venice through their pictures

Launched at the end of 2018, Venezia per Immagini is the daily photo column of the Municipality of Venice. A visual account of the city's landscapes, but also a successful experiment in street photography. It is a collection of urban photos made up of contributions sent in day after day by its inhabitants, but also by tourists and anyone passing through the lagoon capital who wants to immortalise it in order to take it with them as a souvenir and, indeed, share it.

For more than three years the project, conceived by the City's Press Office to involve the population, has been paying homage to the landscapes of Venice, but also of the mainland and the lagoon islands, composing a sort of collective online diary of Venetian memories. The photos, sent to the social@comune.venezia.it mailbox, are selected by the social media team and published twice a day, at the beginning and end of the day (at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.) on the City's social profiles: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Here they receive hundreds of likes, comments and shares, testifying to the enthusiasm and active participation of users.

Over time, thousands of snapshots, taken with professional cameras or simply with smartphones, have been sent to the dedicated email address. Among the shots, not only the most characteristic and usual views of Venetian alleys, squares and bridges, but also details of lesser-known corners of the historic centre, breath-taking sunsets, photos taken on board ferries and gondolas, from drones or from the typical city roof terraces. There is no limit to the imagination of those who, having lived in Venice for years or only admired it in passing, want to show their personal point of view on Venice. The images often come from abroad: France, Spain, Germany and the United States.

Given the success of the initiative, the column continues: to participate, all you have to do is send your photos to social@comune.venezia.it and authorise the Municipality to publish them by signing the attached release form.
